AccuFund Accounting Suite's New User Interface

AccuFund's latest release introduces a completely new user interface with a simpler, standardized design. The graphic user interface fonts are larger and easier to read, toolbar icons are simplified, and all windows have a consistent look and feel. This new AccuFund Accounting Suite Version 6.01 features several new Core capabilities

"Our number one goal with every upgrade is to provide greater convenience, ease-of-use and flexibility for our users," stated Peter Stam, president of AccuFund, Inc. "The Version 6.01 interface is modern, containing the icons users expect in their applications. We've brought it in line with the Windows 10 standard, providing a look users are very familiar with while also delivering simpler navigation to further enhance the system's usability."

The Version 6.01 interface color themes are the most noticeable new feature. The interface offers 25 different color combinations permitting each user to choose their individual color scheme. Changing the theme immediately changes the colors used in any system window. The theme colors, stored as part of each database, allow users to have a different theme color for each database.

Version 6.01 offers several other new capabilities including:

  • Retain User Preferences – Any user settings such as theme color, password, account information, etc. are now stored in the database rather than on the workstation, allowing them to be retained and attached to the user when they move to another workstation or device.
  • Reconfigure Data Entry Grids – Users can reconfigure the way they do data entry, easily moving objects around on the grid whether they are in the browser or data entry area. Grids can be copied to a clipboard for transfer directly to a spreadsheet and all new settings are retained.
  • Filter Data in Browse Windows – Browse default settings have been standardized to show the typically desired data as the default, making the system more responsive. Browse window filtering opens allows users to enter values that will be saved for the next use. Users can return to the default set of values simply by clicking reset filters.

Another new Version 6.01 feature is the ability to resize navigation panes and to add, remove and rearrange columns in any grid-based window. Version 6.01 also supports file streaming, allowing images to be stored outside the database so the database size is smaller.

Version 6.01 also offers new features and enhancements to the following product modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, Client Accounting, Employee Portal, Financial Reports, General Ledger, Grants Management, Human Resources, Payment Portal, Payroll, Representative Payee, Requisitions and Task Scheduler.
