While I have been to a lot of meetings in The Big Apple, I can honestly say I've never attended a Woodard Group meeting in a swanky upscale bar in Midtown Manhattan.
The very first Greater New York City Woodard Group will meet this Thursday, Sept. 22, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., at the Juniper Bar, located at 237 W. 35th Street.
You have to tip your hat to those New Yorkers for holding their first business in the comforts of the Juniper Bar (below). I only wish I could be there. You almost can imagine "Old Blue Eyes breaking into "New York, New York."
Birthed from a series of seemingly unrelated events, Paulette Dreher and the other players – Alex Flores and Andy Presti of Presti & Naegele, Kathleen Feliccia, Paulette’s business partner – came together on the idea by sheer happenstance. The thinking was that it was time for there to be a Woodard presence on Wall Street.
Prior to now, most New Yorkers made their way across the river to attend the New Jersey NNJ Woodard Group hosted by Wiss and Company LLP.
You can bet with a class act of this caliber in charge that the newest Woodard Group will be ready to take Manhattan by storm.
And it isn’t too late to register for the meeting.
Future meetings will be held at Presti & Naegele’s offices, 225 West 35th Street, 16th Floor.
