In this next installment of the “Meet the Instructor” series, we feature Leslie Capachietti. Leslie is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor as well as a member of Intuit’s
Premier Reseller $100k Club. Leslie is also the lead writer for the QuickBooks Point of Sale 12.0 Desktop Certification. She will be teaching the QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale Certification Exam Preparation courses at Scaling New Heights in Atlantis.
We sat down to talk with Leslie about her sessions at Scaling New Heights, and what attendees can expect when they come to her sessions. Leslie had this to say:
“Of the many QuickBooks courses I’ve taught over the years, I think I enjoy teaching QuickBooks Point of Sale the most. As an early POS adopter I’ve been recommending and supporting Point of Sale Desktop since version 1.0, so it’s no surprise that QuickBooks Point of Sale continues to be an important part of my practice.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to deliver live and web based training on QuickBooks Point of Sale, and in many cases these courses provided ProAdvisors with their first introduction to QBPOS. I always enjoy hearing from past attendees that they have since added Point of Sale to the list of Intuit solutions they support. In fact, for me one of the greatest benefits of teaching is the opportunity to also serve as a mentor and then watch as some of my students take their learning – and their practice – to the next level.
At this year’s conference I’ll be presenting the Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 ProAdvisor Certification preparation course. The material will be delivered in three sessions. Session one will be an overview of the current Point of Sale Desktop Solution. So if you’ve been thinking about pursuing the Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 ProAdvisor Certification or just want to learn more about the latest Point of Sale Desktop offering this first session would be a great one to attend. The last two sessions will be a deeper dive into key areas of the application as well as how to identify and address the most common mistakes users make.
While I’ll certainly be covering what ProAdvisors need to know in order to prepare for the Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 Certification exam in all three sessions, I also look forward to sharing my own insights and “stories from the front lines” as a Point of Sale Desktop Certified ProAdvisor and Intuit Premier Reseller.”
