Latino Tax Fest started off with a bang on Tuesday morning with attendees flooding the exhibit hall seeking new and useful tools to help them grow their businesses. I personally spoke with a mixture of attendees who worked in tax, client accounting services, bookkeeping, a combination of all and even some who were focused on insurance.
The similarity between Latino Tax Fest and my other favorite event, Scaling New Heights, are striking. They are both lead by someone who has the vision to see the market, where it is headed and what the needs are as well as the entrepreneurial spirit to put it all on the line and take a risk to build something unique in the market. Latino Tax Fest is certainly unique. It is the one place you can go as an attendee or an exhibitor to learn about the growing opportunities in the Latin market.
Sessions available on Wednesday August 1:
- Access To Capital and Finance
- The Power of the Latino Market
- 2018 Taxation of Legal Marijuana Update
- Act Now! Get ready for your New Due Diligence Requirements
- Social Security Administration: With you Through Life’s Journey
- The Perfect Practice
- Data Breach
- Tech Meet Schedule C
- Understanding Offer in Compromise
- The Latest immigration Update
In addition to the sessions mentioned above, attendees have plenty of time to meet with exhibitors to learn more about the tools available to help them run their practices more efficiently and more effectively. Tools like Drake Software, Gruntworx (scan and fill), Scriptel signature pads, Intuit, Xero, ReceiptBank, Canon Scanners, File Center (by Lucion), Canopy and ADP, countless financing and bank product companies as well as insurance from Landy Insurance and government resources from the IRS.
If you are a solutions provider looking to grow your user base and have not considered Latino Tax, you need to.
If you touch taxes for clients in any way, you, too, should consider adding Latino Tax Fest to your list of events for next year.
If great educational sessions, a loaded exhibit hall and attendees that engage with the exhibitors aren’t reason enough to attend, perhaps the Mariachi band and Salsa Dancing by the pool will add the perfect spice to the event for you!
