This is your friendly 10-day reminder that the deadline for 'Recertification' in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Advanced is just days away on July 31st (each year). I can say that because stupid me still hasn't completed his own recertification either.
The common July 31 Recertification Deadline is a result of feedback to the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program, and is also part of the 'simplified recertification process.'
2019 QBO 'Core' Recertification Training & Examination within QBOA Training Options

Holders of QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification need only take and pass the 'Core Recertification' in order remain certified. Holders of QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor Certification who also are 'Core' Certified in QuickBooks Online, need only take and pass the 'QuickBooks Online Advanced Recertification' in order to remain certified in both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Because this is the first year in which 're-certifications' and the common renewal dates have applied to both QBO Certified ProAdvisors and QBO Advanced Certified ProAdvisors, the July 31 re-certification deadline applies to ProAdvisors if:
- They passed the QuickBooks Online Certification prior to March 1, 2019, or
- They passed the Advanced Certification prior to November 2, 2018
The final countdown is on. If you are like me and you have been procrastinating, then you had better get moving... because July 31 is just 10 days away and now is the time to dive into re-certification training, and to take the exam that is appropriate for your level of certification!
