Women and Their Money: Financial Realities
to
This program is the first in an 8-session series.
Despite gains in labor participation over the last few decades, women continue to experience a gender pay-gap which impacts the income stream available to save, spend, and invest at rates comparable to men. Retirement and other long term investment goals suffer, as a result. Unfortunately, the pandemic reversed key trends in women-owned businesses and in their labor participation rates overall.
Studies continue to show that financial literacy is a cornerstone of economic stability and despite gains in other areas of life, women of all ages still report looking to someone else for assistance in understanding and guiding their finances.
There are numerous reasons that a woman might feel under-prepared to handle her finances. As we explore the economic realities for women and the pressure they exert on a womans long-term financial success, we also explore the gains and exciting opportunities that women now have. Women who understand the WHY and therefore can use this knowledge best are well-suited to make strides towards empowerment.
This course lays the groundwork for building comprehensive financial knowledge. We begin with the WHY, continue with a robust discussion on financial empowerment steps, and finish by exploring initial steps to take. This course encourages participants to view financial management as a critical skill. We start to build each participants financial puzzle, a process that will continue throughout the 8 sessions.
Wherever you are in your understanding and mastery of your financial life, this webinar will give you the tools to make the choices necessary to have a successful financial future.
