Intuit has officially announced they are launching a new program exclusively for Advanced Certified ProAdvisors® to maintain their advanced status. Developed with key inputs from existing Advanced Certified ProAdvisors, this new Advanced Continuing Education (ACE) program will ensure that Advanced ProAdvisors can continue to grow their practice and support their clients at a deeper level, all without the need to re-take advanced exams yearly. ACE-approved training will make its debut at Scaling New Heights and consist of a variety of advanced topics.
Effective May 22, 2016, all QuickBooks® Advanced Certified ProAdvisors (both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop) must complete 9 CPE credits of ACE-approved training within 3 years of getting Advanced QuickBooks Certified, and then every 3 years after that. The reporting system will be available in October of 2016.
ACE-approved training will consist of live webinars and classroom events developed and delivered by Advanced Certified ProAdvisors who have been pre-approved as ACE Sponsors. There will be a variety of advanced topics, venues and times available so that you can attend training that is relevant to you and your practice. Some ACE-approved training will be conducted at events and conferences which many Advanced Certified ProAdvisors already attend.
“Launching our Advanced Continuing Education program at Scaling New Heights is designed to reinforce our commitment to our most elite Advanced Certified ProAdvisors,” said Chris Hamilton, leader of the Global QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. “We recognize there are many eager Advanced ProAdvisors who want the opportunity to invest in their educational expertise instead of renewing their status yearly. ACE is the program that allows them to grow their practice in an epic way. We encourage those that are applicable to register and earn their ACE courses in time for October when the reporting effectively begins.”
Advanced Certified ProAdvisors who wish to take advantage of this valuable program can look for ACE-approved sessions from the list of Scaling New Heights training.
