In case you missed my "Live from SuiteWorld" features, I plan to give you a couple of additional articles with some of the best news to report concerning what I heard and saw that was new and forthcoming from NetSuite. But one of the things I felt important to report was the impact this group's "suiteness" had on me.
First of all, size. There were more than 5,000 physically present at SuiteWorld, and when you consider that in light of its customer numbers, that's a monumental representation of its 32,000-plus customer base actually attending.
Then, when you add that there were almost 8,000 virtually participating, I can only say, "Wow, how suite it was (for them)."
Second, enthusiasm. I haven't seen this kind of exuberance at an accounting technology conference since perhaps the early days of Sleeter or Scaling New Heights—everyone was as electrified as the opening keynote introductory first act.
Third, organized. The event itself was probably among the best I have ever attended in terms of organization, managed, secure and generally structured. With a few tech glitches in one or two small sessions, everything went perfectly.
Fourth, food. Again, among the best I have ever experienced at a conference, bar none. There was not one single rubber-chicken on the menu.
When it came to the announcements, Evan Goldberg, founder and EVP of NetSuite, rocked the crowd with product innovations geared toward helping them run their organizations more efficiently and increase their bottom lines.
Starting with that very first keynote, Goldberg told the participants, "With an economy in transition, businesses can look to the certainty of data to find new paths to profitability and growth." He went on to say that "to help them (their customers) do this, they continue to extend the capabilities of NetSuite."
The latest updates encompass everything from financial management to HR to sales processes. They are designed to help NetSuite customers run their business in a better way that supports their growth journeys.
Something that goes hand in hand with the SuiteWorld theme of "Full Suite Ahead." It also jives with a term NetSuite uses when customers get the most out of the product, "Suiteness."
As Insightful Accountant has already told you, there were many innovations and new releases unveiled by NetSuite at the conference, including its new AP (accounts payable) automation to increase the speed and accuracy of bill and payment processing. There also was a new configure, price, quote (CPQ) solution to simplify and accelerate sales, which was a favorite feature of mine.

While Insightful Accountant already has given you an overview of these new NetSuite features, we are by no means done talking about them. Over the next few months, we will continue to expand our NetSuite coverage with a focus on these new and enhanced product areas.
We will not only take a deeper dive into each of the product features themselves, but also use a case-study approach by working with actual NetSuite users who have found these specific features beneficial in their businesses.
By the way, a special thanks to Team NetSuite for making this such a valuable, productive and informative conference for me.
