Jim McGinnis, Leader of the Accountant and Advisor Group for Intuit, wrote this piece earlier in the month on the Intuit Blog. I just read it this morning and felt it would be a good piece to share. In short Jim is telling the reader that luck, as he calls it, is something you prepare for and something you can have a impact upon. How so? By being available and present and by knowing "when to fold 'em". (Yes that is a Kenny Rogers reference.)
