You may have seen my "Through The Lens" series where I have shared some of the results of a recent survey we compiled with Dydacomp. The purpose of the survey was to learn more about our reader, your challenges and your desires for content.
In the survey, when asked what the biggest challenges were that were facing your business, General Business Growth and Adding New Clients were numbers 1 and 2. When we asked what other content you'd like to see, the same topics rose to the top: General Business Growth, Adding New Clients (and Demonstrating Value for Services).
So here's where it gets a little puzzling (and where I get on my soapbox - sorry!)
55% of the respondents in the survey told us their retail clients have problems with Multi-Channel Inventory Management. But when asked if they would like to be contacted directly about a solution, a tiny 30% said yes! 30%! This is an opportunity to grow your business by bringing a new solution to your client or solving a major pain point, but only 30% said "Contact Me" while at the same time respondents said they want more information on General Business Growth. The numbers don't add up and for accounting professionals, that's not a good thing!
I'm off my soapbox now.
Along the lines of bringing you more content on General Business Growth and Adding New Clients, we are working with Palo Alto to promote a FREE web seminar entitled "Learn How Easy It Is To Become A Trusted Advisor To Your Clients". This is all about General Business Growth because we fully believe that the way of the future and the growth opportunities for advisors is in adding strategic advisory services. You can register for the Web Seminar HERE. Is Palo Alto a vendor? Yes. Do they ultimately want you to be a customer? Yes. Can their services help you grow your business? Absolutely!
Do you REALLY want to grow your business?
