BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and consulting firms, has been named one of the 2019 Vault Accounting 50, a ranking of the 50 best accounting firms to work for in North America. BDO is ranked the fifth best firm to work for by Vault.com, the source for employer and university rankings for in-demand candidates. This represents a jump of one spot from last year’s rankings.
The Vault Accounting 50 is compiled using a weighted formula that reflects the issues accounting professionals care most about, combining diversity and quality of life rankings (such as culture, satisfaction, work/life balance, and compensation) with overall prestige. This year rankings were based on a survey of approximately 8,800 accountants.
“BDO USA has been among the leaders of Vault’s accounting rankings for many years. This year’s ranking represents our highest ever and serves as powerful evidence of BDO’s commitment to constant improvement in creating and maintaining a culture that puts people first,” said Cathy Moy, Chief People Officer at BDO USA. “This recognition, which is based on employee surveys, is an important independent, third-party endorsement of our efforts to provide employees with rewarding and well-balanced careers.”
Vault.com recently recognized BDO as one of the 50 Best Internships in the country. In addition to the continuing recognition from Vault.com, BDO USA has been named a Best Company by Working Mother magazine for seven consecutive years and has also received the prestigious When Work Works Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility from the Families and Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management for eight consecutive years.
