They made it official: Longtime Academy Award accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers isn't getting shown the door after all following last year's more than embarrassing Oscar flub.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Cheryl Boone Isaacs confirmed that the Academy's Board of Governors has decided to retain the services of PwC.
After a thorough review, including an extensive presentation of revised protocols and ambitious controls, the Board decided to continue working with PwC, which has handled the duties for the past 84 years.
