Nurse Off Duty
I was advised earlier today by Intuit that the Network Nurses had been prematurely posted into some of their Knowledge Based Articles prior to being ready. They have now removed all references to the Network Nurses from Intuit's technical support website, but they have not provided any further details as to why, or when we might expect a future release.
Intuitive Accountant has complied with Intuit's request that we pull our original article on the Network Nurses; so this short blog is intended to let you know why that article is no longer on our site.
My original article was written as a result of having found the Nurses in an Intuit-KBA which peaked my interest and started my testing, I subsequently published the article. I did not write the article based on any behind-the-scenes consults with Intuit staff, I simply found the tools while researching Intuit technical support for 'network firewall ports'.
Many of you are aware that within a couple of days of our publication the link we provided in the original article to download the Nurses 'broke'; subsequently I found another Intuit-KBA with the link to download the Nurses, I then published a revision to our article with that link. A few days subsequent to that change, that link was no longer valid, and so I found yet another Intuit-KBA; however, that link to the Nurse tools has since been removed.
I regret any unwarranted expectations, you our readers may have experienced, as a result of our original article on the Network Nurses. Intuit apparently doesn't feel that their Network Nurses are 'ready for duty.'
I will try to keep you updated on this topic as further details become available.
