Independence Day which is more commonly referred to as the Fourth of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, as the date on which our country separated from England. So whether you are your family are celebrating with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, or holiday vacation, enjoy all those activities safely, but never forget this special day is all about:
These brave men, all considered 'traitors' to the King of England, gave us our freedom we enjoy and celebrate on this holiday. Countless Americans would then fight and die to win and preserve that freedom so that we might truly know what it means to 'live in the land of the free and home of the brave.'
To all of those I say, 'Thank You.'
And "Thank You too", so from all of us here at Insightful Accountant, have a GREAT 'Independence Day' weekend.
