Here it is Halloween and I have a new friend, a whispery ghost floating inside my right eye. I was at the Xero Roadshow meeting in Dallas yesterday afternoon, when quite suddenly I began experiencing little black blobs and lightning flashes inside my right eye. I drove almost halfway home where I met my brother and a friend who drove me the rest of the way.
I have just returned from the ophthalmologist who has advised me that I have a hemorrhage inside my eye, but luckily it has not yet affected my retina. At this moment my eyes are dilated but I am dictating on my iPhone using Siri to prepare this blog.
Obviously I am going to have to find a different way for my daily writing routine since I am supposed to reduce the strain on my eyes for at least the next two weeks. I am therefore looking at alternatives to the standard method of composing my blogs and articles.
Siri seems to be doing a pretty good job, but I am not sure that this is a long-term solution as punctuation is not Siri's forte. Nonetheless, Siri will have to suffice for this initial offering.
To all my readers never fear Murph is still here and will do his best to keep at least one good eye on everything of importance to the intuitive accountant.
