Automated taxes and forms is a QuickBooks Online Payroll feature that allows you or your client to automate e-paying and e-filing. Automated taxes and forms is turned 'on' by a default setting inside of QuickBooks Online Payroll. Core, Premium, and Elite subscriptions offer Automated taxes and form filing.
You Can Decide When To Pay
Until this point, we have not had control over when the taxes were filed. Now we can decide when to pay by choosing sooner or later. By selecting either the sooner option (as shown below), you can submit taxes faster once the period has ended. Or you choose to pay later but before the due date.
Steps
Just follow these steps to make the payroll changes...
- Select the Gear icon
- Choose Payroll settings
- Select Taxes and forms
- Choose Sooner or Later
