Intuit's QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program has begun to notify ProAdvisors that a new version of the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification will be launched on May 22, 2017.

At that time, the current training modules and Advanced Exam will no longer be available after 11:59 p.m. (PST), May 21, 2017.
ProAdvisors in the process of taking the current QBO Advanced Exam will need to complete the process by not later than 11:59 p.m. (PST) on May 21. You will not be able to carry over the current exam into the new QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification that launches on May 22.
By the way, I would call your attention the times listed here and that within Intuit's announcement are Pacific Standard Time, even though most portions of the United States are presently on daylight savings time.
Whether that is a typo or not is unclear, but if I were you, I wouldn't let it get down to a one hour difference while you're trying to finish up the Advanced Exam.
Because QuickBooks Online frequently is changing and being updated and improved, ProAdvisors must be current on those changes, updates and improvements.
In order to help prepare ProAdvisors for a certification that's timely in terms of these QBO related enhancements, Intuit updates the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification training materials and the related Exam.
All ProAdvisors that have been certified in QuickBooks Online within the last 365 days are eligible to take the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification training and Examination.
Because Intuit is aware this change may have an impact upon ProAdvisors currently in the process of preparing or taking the QBO-Advanced Certification or planning to do so, it has released some specifics as to what the new certification means for ProAdvisors:
1. If you have completed the current QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification, your status will not expire simply because a new examination has been issued. You are not required to complete the new exam.
2. If you have started the current QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification, but you have not completed it, you have two options:
- Complete the current QuickBooks Online Advanced Examination before Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. (PST) or wait and take the new QuickBooks Online Advanced Examination when it becomes available on or after Monday, May 22.
3. You have the exact same options as elaborated in No. 2 above if you plan to take the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification, just as long as you start and finish the current examination by Sunday, May 21, at 11:59 p.m. (PST). If you don't think you can do that, wait for the new QBO-Advanced Certification and Materials to be released.
