Why many accountants won't adopt cloud

There is a simple reason why many accountants don't want to adopt the cloud. It costs them more money. Instead of buying one copy of Quickbooks or Sage that covers all there clients, they will have to purchase a subscription for each one. I don't blame the software companies for pushing the cloud; after all they stand to make a lot more money.

QuickBooks Online-Accountant is free to Accountants

Accountants can get QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor 'for QBO' Membership Free, and then simply connect all of their clients with QBO Subscriptions to their QBOA account. You have all the access to your clients data in real time, and have special tools to help you work easier, faster and smarter with your clients data, like the new Trial Balance feature, and many others.

In addition you can participate in a 'wholesale' option and actually save your clients money with their own QBO subscriptions over standard (off the website) subscription costs. Some accountants choose to 'pass on' the savings, and others choose to bundle the QBO subscription into their standard pricing for services.
