I was just asked about this on Monday

Now I have an article to send to a client that overpaid their liabilities in one period and underpaid in another.

How's that for timing?

Glad we could help!

Payroll Liabilities Article

When I know that something has been overpaid in a prior period, I process the liability payment through the Custom Liability Payment feature and set the date range as you described to cover both periods. Your way seems easier for clients. Thx

NYS-1 form is showing date in red

NYS-1 form shows date in red - cannot e-file - date is actually correct. Intuit is aware of problem since at least 5/5/15 and so far has no fix as of 5/21/15.

Payroll Liabilities article-Thank you

Awesome article Bill. In the past, I've always used the "Adjust Payroll Liabilities" function, but I like these tips better for more control. Thank you!
