QBO vs QBD

For the meat of the article, just read the last line. Intuit has chosen to limit QBD features concerning integrationing with apps, Therefore QBO is the best choice by design.. QBD is a time grown, proven robust accounting program, To bad Intuit will not use that wealth of knowledge by adapting QBD to handle integrations with apps thru the web. Even if that ability was on a subscription basis (remember the golden rule "follow the money"). An example of Intuits support for QBD was when the app for customer invocies and estimates was pulled after the app was working great.

Co-Construct

I have a contractor client using QBO with Co-construct. They use their Amex card extensively for job-related expenses. We looked at Knowify and Builder Trend and chose Co-construct because we could import the 300+ transactions from Amex into QBO, process them in the bank feed, and they would push to Co-Construct. We could not download the Amex activity into Knowify or Builder Trend and would have had to manually enter them in the app to get them to push into QBO. At the time, this was the only app that offered this bi-directional process. Client is happy with Co-construct and offer that as an alternative people should look into.
