Intuit announced that QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification is coming to the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program and launching at the company's QuickBooks Connect event, Oct. 21-23 in San Jose, CA. Attendees at the event can be among the first to take the QBO Advanced Certification prep class taught by Michelle Long, a member of Intuitive Accountant's 2014 Top 100 ProAdvisors and one of the most influential, well-known and respected accounting professionals in the industry. Michelle’s QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification prep class is included in the cost to attend QuickBooks Connect and will be offered Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 21st, from 2:00pm to 7:40pm PT. QuickBooks Connect is an Intuit event in which they are bringing their entire "ecosystem" together under one roof: Customers, ProAdvisors, Developers and of course Intuit staff and key leaders, to mix, mingle and learn.
The training available will allow ProAdvisors to learn techniques to sharpen their practice management skills, how to implement and benefit from value billing, employee and HR strategies, and social media, marketing and consulting strategies. In addition to the accountant specific training lead by Joe Woodard, attendees will hear cutting edge presentations from world-renown accounting and small business thought leaders, such as Joe Woodard, Ron Baker, Gary Boomer, Greg LaFollette and Edie Osborne, along with Intuit’s CEO Brad Smith and Founder Scott Cook; Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post; and Marc Andreessen, inventor of the first web browser Netscape and investor in companies such as Digg, LinkedIn and Facebook.
CPE credits are available for attendees who need them (over two dozen according to the latest release).
