QBO App

Be careful using the Accountants reclass. LOL the check boxes don't line up with the line it is related to. So funny the first line starts out good and then it gets off a little more each time. By the time I got to the bottom of my data the check box was a full line down. Double check what you have selected.

Thank you!

My thanks to Gary for spreading the word about this app and for mentioning me. For those of you who are interested in hearing what current users have found testing this new app, the thread is here https://www.linkedin.com/grp/post/1910499-6033980639735271426?trk=groups-post-b-title. I for one am glad to see Intuit doing more to improve QBO, especially for accountants.

QBO Windows App

I downloaded the app and started to use it. One feature that prompted me to try the product was the ability to have multiple open windows. However, I was unable to keep multiple windows open. What am i doing wrong?

QBO app

You have to select transactions from the gray menu bar.

QBO Mac App

I have used the Mac app for 8 months now. It is pretty cool but has a couple of weird quirks (features?). Occasionally, I get boxes instead of the gear and plus icons. Switching between companies can be challenging at times and I find myself having to sign out and sign back in sometimes to make the switch happen. Other than that, the app is pretty groovy and I have really grown to like QBO.

QBO Windows App

It's supposed to look and feel more like QBD. It does allow multiple windows to be open at once, and if you make a change in one window, the others auto-refresh, which is nice. They also claim that it loads much faster than QBO in a browser, but I find it to be slower. My clients are about 60% QBO and 40% QBD. I'm fine with whatever works for the client.

QBO Desktop App

I loaded the app. Other than getting an icon on my desktop to log into QBO, I failed to see what else does the app do.

QBO App

I think it is supery dupery. It might still have a few issues, but the tiered multi-window view is actually huge for me. Creating multiple tabs and even moving those tabs to other screens, just did not replace the tiered view. The ability to use more keystrokes, also, a big win.

QBO Desktop App For Accountants

Your title is confusing. I assume this is a QBO app, NOT an app for the Desktop version of QB. I haven't tried the app yet, but I didn't think it was appropriate to use the terminology "QuickBooks Online" (QBO) and "Desktop" together.

I see what you are saying and will make an adjustment. Thanks for the heads up.

QBO Desktop App

I have been testing and using the App since last fall and it has come a long way. It refreshes so much faster, like we are used to on desktop. I have yet to see the spinning wheel of death. And during this latest round of website changes when I can't find the right page to login to, I just opened the app, logged in and no problems. All my clients are there, my practice is there. It definitely gives QBO a more desktop like feel.

Thank you for the link. Downloaded it and already like it, and looking forward to working with it.

QBO Desktop App

I really like the App so far. However, I wish the "Favorites" was more like "Bookmarks" in QBO for Chrome!
