Nomination Confusion

I'm not sure I understand how you guys are choosing the categorical nominees if you are basing it off of nominations given from other people.. I went in to nominate a coworker and it just asks for their name and contact information... but that isn't going to help you know which category specifically we are trying to nominate them for. Could you clarify please?

Good question

The nominations are intended for the general Top 100. The individual categories will be selected based on the research we do into the various individuals who were nominated. Thanks for your question and thanks for being an Intuitive Accountant.

IRP/ProAdvisor Outside USA

We are Intuit Master Partner outside USA and working very closely with INTUIT IRP team to promote Intuit products outside USA. Are we entitled for the contest of Intuitive Accountant Top 100 ProAdvisor or The proAdvisor of the year.

Another Good Question!

While our original intention was to identify individuals within the US, we never stated that, so you can certainly submit your nomination(s). We will be identifying top IRP's, so you definitely can "fit in" somewhere. Thanks! Gary

Individuals may apply for the ProAdvisor Awards

We are currently accepting applications from individuals who wish to be considered for any of the awards we mentioned in introducing the awards.

Thank you for being one of our readers, and thanks for your question.

We look forward to your entry. more than 2 years ago

Product Partner question

If I am a partner with SmartVault, and Right Networks, which category do I list that under on the form?

Cathy Wool more than 2 years ago

Thanks for your Question - There is no particular Right or Wrong

We probably should have a few more categories and/or an 'other' but when you (or anyone) is in doubt to as to which to use, simply list your affiliations in one or more of the categories.

Thanks for your interest, and thanks for being one of our readers. more than 2 years ago

Can companies be nominated?

Murph, this is a great idea! Another hole Intuitive Accountants is filling.

Can firms be nominated or just individuals? We've got a number of Advanced Certified and Certified ProAdvisors on the GrowthForce team and I'd be hard pressed to single one out since we serve our clients as a team. Steve

This is an 'individual' award.

This year, we will be honoring only 'individuals'; but you have given us another valuable suggestion that may impact some of the awards in future years. more than 2 years ago

Top 100

Do you usually reply to questions posed in these comments? I sent one very early this morning.

Bonnie Crabtree more than 2 years ago

I do my best, but this isn't a full-time Q&A forum.

We do our best to respond to the majority of comments submitted to us, but sometimes we might not get those answers posted for hours (or in some cases a few days) depending on if we are submitting them to a guest writer in regard to an article they wrote.

We never intended our 'comments section' to become a Question and Answer forum, as our format for reply isn't really set up for 'dueling banjos'.

Thanks again for your question and readership.

Top 100

I love this idea. There are many more deserving individuals than the number has room for.

I am wondering , though, why you would not also consider those of us who serve our clients as we serve our bosses. We are just as valuable and maybe not seen as much. Our commitment to excellence is no less that those who have their own consulting husinesses. Why exclude us?

Bonnie Crabtree more than 2 years ago

GREAT Question....

I am not sure why those of us who have been tossing around this idea hadn't thought of that already, but you can bet that we are thinking about it now.

I think our emphasis was on finding a ProAdvisor who used their skills to serve a broad-reaching client base and as a result might have extraordinary experiences.

But your point is well taken.....
