When you are spending as much time at a conference as I am this week, you tend to focus on the convention and the topics at hand. Obviously IA is publishing a lot about Sage and Sage products this week, and many of the things we are learning about you will be seeing in the days and weeks to come. But I am also trying to be true to our name change, 'Insightful Accountant' and provide you our readers with 'insights' into some accounting products that you may not ever consider at all. Because, as I learned at a early age when my parents took me to the 'cafeteria', "choice can be a 'very good' thing indeed."
So I'm sorry that this week's Sage coverage means that some of our regular recurring theme articles, or columns as some people think of them, are simply taking a back seat to all the great news that we are attempting to deliver from this forward thinking company, in order to give you meaningful 'insights'.
By the way, I am not the only person here, who many people think of as a QuickBooks person; I've noticed a lot of other QuickBooks users and advisors here, seeing 'what's new and different' in the Sage world. Of course it could be they are here for the excellent speakers and thought leaders contributing to the summit, but somehow, I think they are here for the up-front and personal insights they can gain by looking at a 'different fish in the sea.'
