Lawrence Garfield, the fictitious corporate raider portrayed by Danny DeVito in the movie, 'Other People's Money'1 said it best, "Since when do you have to be hungry to eat a doughnut? It doesn't taste any better!" Now, Krispy Kreme has outdone themselves, and their newest creation is in my opinion an instance 'perk requirement' for any/every accounting office... I'm talking about their new Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Doughnut, which KK will begin selling today (Friday 8/4/2017) only within US based stores.
The New Doughnut in Town
Just look at it in all its yummy splendor. It's filled with Reese's2 'peanut butter kreme' and dipped in chocolate. Then it is drizzled with more chocolate and peanut butter icing, and finally it is sprinkled with Reese's miniature peanut butter chips and peanuts. It is absolutely to die for.
If anything will take your mind off that balance sheet that just won't balance, or that tax return that is full of red audit flags, or that fellow employee who never seems to get their work done until your boss tells you to 'help the lazy guy', this necessary perk will do it.
So all you accounting bosses of America, just run on down to your nearby Krispy Kreme and pick up a few dozen of these marvels of the doughnut world....after all they were already like 'Heaven with a Hole' and now the hole has been filled with Reese's.
And that's where Murph is heading now..."yummy, here I come."
